Westbrooke Alternative Asset Management UK (“Westbrooke”) is pleased to have led the arrangement of warranted, senior debt facilities to support AURELIUS Group’s (“AURELIUS”) c.£91 million acquisition of the TM Group (“TM”) from Dye & Durham (“D&D”) in a Competition Market Authority (“CMA”) mandated sales process.
- Leading provider of Property Search aggregation services in the UK – TM is the 2nd largest provider of property search aggregation services in the UK, having completed 25m+ searches since inception.
- Accelerated Acquisition Process – CMA mandated sale required speed and certainty of delivery.
- Senior secured debt financing – Westbrooke arranged warranted, senior term debt financing to support the acquisition of TM.
Head quartered in Swindon, TM has grown into one of the leading providers of property search aggregation services in the UK, providing services to over 1,300 conveyancers and lawyers.
The transaction will see AURELIUS acquire 100% of TM, following a CMA-mandated sales process that has emphasised speed and deliverability. Supported by AURELIUS’ operational task force, TM remains well positioned to capture the growth opportunities available to the company despite the current volatility in the property sector at present.
Kieran McKenzie of Westbrooke Hybrid Capital UK commented: “We are really pleased to be working with AURELIUS for the first time and to be supporting them on this exciting acquisition. We look forward to working with them over the coming years as they continue to build TM’s impressive track record”
Stephan Senfle of AURELIUS said: “It’s been great working with the Westbrooke team to bring this transaction together, where responsiveness and deliverability of funding were key in a complex process and sector. We look forward to having them alongside us as our debt partner.”
