    Growth capital for a family owned retailer

    Westbrooke invested R100 million in a family owned retail business with an innovative hybrid capital solution that both strengthened the balance sheet of the company and unlocked personal liquidity for the shareholders.


    Acquisition facility to support the acquisition of a competitor

    Westbrooke supported a leading, independent provider of insurance and financial services solutions with a R75 million investment to acquire and integrate its largest competitor.


    Buy-out of minority shareholder, consolidating control

    Westbrooke supported the founders and management of a leading IT and telecommunications services business buy-out a minority shareholder and unlock significant growth opportunities.


    Dividend recapitalisation

    Westbrooke invested R50 million into a family run investment holding company, with the proceeds being utilised to pay a R50 million dividend to shareholders without requiring the shareholders to sell their investments. 


    R70 million equity unlock

    Westbrooke structured a facility to release trapped equity in an alternative lender for the sponsor to utilize to finance an acquisition
