Westbrooke Alternative Asset Management UK is pleased to announce the closing of a 12-month senior debt facility with Fides Properties Limited. The Facility was utilised to complete the acquisition of a 28,034 sq. ft freehold retail warehouse, with a c.18.6 year lease to Wickes, located on Botley Road, in Oxford.

Fides Properties forms part of a wider independent, privately owned, boutique multi-family office specializing in Trust, Real Estate and Family Advisory Services. Fides Properties specializes in providing a boutique turn-key service for families and institutions seeking to invest directly in commercial property in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Germany.

Westbrooke provided a £6.5m senior debt facility to facilitate the acquisition of the retail property as part of a c.£12m total acquisition consideration, after traditional bank lenders were unable to proceed with funding the transaction due to Covid-19.
